Airport Lost and Found at DFW

The baggage claim area for Terminal E is where you can find the airport's lost-and-found department. The office's phone number is (972) 973-4420, and you may also report a missing item online.

Depending on where your item was left, DFW has two locations for lost things at the airport.

You can send lost things to:

  • Near gate C2 is the American Airlines Lost & Found office (past security)
  • DFW Lost & Found is situated close to E4 at the Terminal E baggage claim (pre-security)

Please be aware that each airline's Lost & Found department is responsible for handling things lost on flights.

Service hours:

Service hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Sundays and Saturdays are holidays Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day are national holidays.

Lost at Security Check

Contact the organization's Lost & Found division for anything lost at a TSA Security checkpoint. On the TSA website, you may find contact information.

Travelers are advised to register a lost property report for free with DFW's Lost & Found. Please be warned that there have been more unreliable third-party websites that charge tourists to reclaim lost property (s). When filing a report, please file a report online, call the number provided or file the report in person.
