International Customs

We desire your arrival at DFW while traveling abroad to proceed as smoothly as possible. Our customs facilities have been planned to maximize traveler flow, significantly cut down on wait times, and get you where you need to go.

Program for Global Entry

To expedite frequent US citizen passengers through even quicker lanes, avoiding paper Custom declaration forms and conventional lineups while reentering the US, DFW provides the Global Entry Program. Select airports around the country, including DFW, offer the Global Entry Trusted Traveler Program. If you frequently go abroad, this program is your pass to the front of the line.

Global Entry passengers arrive at DFW and continue immediately to the automated kiosks to complete the customs declaration forms, skipping the queue for passport control. They will then receive a ticket and be told where to go for their bags.

The Global Entry office for DFW is similarly situated in the corridor directly to the south of international arrivals at Terminal D's Lower Level. To reach a door with a "Department of Homeland Security" seal, follow the overhead sign for Global Entry.

Enrollment in Global Entry Upon Arrival

Enrollment on Arrival at DFW has also been made available by U.S. Customs and Border Protection to allow candidates for Global Entry who have received conditional approval to finish their interview, the last stage in the enrollment process while passing CBP processing. Travelers' wait periods for enrolment will be reduced by the program. Customers who have been conditionally accepted for Global Entrance and are traveling back from an overseas trip can complete their registration at CBP booths 35 or 36 in the Passport Control arrivals hall as part of their entry procedure.
